A former farmer, Swiss artist Marc Moret (1943–2021) created sculptures encased in thick glue, incorporating objects belonging to his family. For him, the « collages » were a kind of tool for prayer, as much as a remedy for anxiety. The Musée Gruérien – located not far from the artist’s old farm in Bulle, Switzerland – has devoted the exhibition « Des forteresses contre l’angoisse » (Fortresses Against Anxiety) to the intense works.
